Apprenticeship

The module LEHRE (apprenticeship) was established in 2003. It is more specific than WORKS. With regard to the legal training rules, we have to assess the qualification of the applicants more precisely and have to attach importance to basic scholastic requirements, especially literacy and numeracy.

Currently, we offer apprenticeship in three professions:

locksmith (3-4 apprentices)
cook (3-4 apprentices)
office executive (1-2 apprentices)

The apprentices are employees of pro mente: kinder jugend familie and gain a usual wage. The duration of apprenticeship varies between 3 and 4 years. Additionally, the apprentices get extra scholastic lessons, focusing on individual needs.
